QuickCAST - Preboot Management Console
QuickCAST is designed for PC manufacturers and system builders to simplify and automate the PC build inspection and aging process. QuickCAST enables a PC to boot, download and execute various preboot diagnostic images centrally administered from a remote PC prior to actually loading the client operating system form the hard drive.
QuickCAST improves productivity during the manufacturing, assembly, or testing process for all configurations by removing all manual intervention as well as the tricky management of multiple images. QuickCAST ensures that every PC on the network – even those with damaged operating systems, new PCs with no O/S and unformatted hard disks – can be connected to the network and fully tested.
QuickCAST utilizes various Ultra-X images used for the entire production to deploy System Diagnostics, Burn-In / Aging, and Cleaning, automatically and in one step. The PC is fully tested and put through a Burn-In / Aging process ensuring all core components function properly. Ultra-X’s QuickCAST can enable a multicast boot, bringing up several PC’s simultaneously. Diagnostics and Burn-In / Aging times are reduced to a minimum, streamlining the manufacturing and production process. In repair environment, QuickCAST can streamline your testing area & provide a central base for maintaining diagnostics.
