P.H.D. MiniPCI

P.H.D. MiniPCI is an advanced diagnostics board that can be used by service technicians, system integrators & developers to perform sophisticated diagnostic testing on MiniPCI bus systems with Intel compatible processors.
P.H.D. MiniPCI allows you to perform component/circuit level diagnostics on a system and view testing progress and results on the system's monitor. Once installed into a MiniPCI slot, P.H.D. MiniPCI will perform a series test of diagnostics targeting the proper functionality of the PCI Bus.

Utilizing direct hardware-to-hardware methods, circuit diagnostics such as:
MiniPCI Bus, processor(s), hard drive controllers, ATAPI device controller, Memory/RAM controllers, DMA controllers, page registers, keyboard controller, interrupt controllers, timers, CMOS clock, and many other peripheral support chips can be accurately tested.

P.H.D. MiniPCI loads from an onboard FLASH ROM and does not require any external booting devices or operating systems. Operating System independence eliminates any conflicts that may occur between the tests, any loaded TSR's, operating systems or system BIOS features. The convenience and reliability of ROM diagnostics means that technicians get results that are the most accurate and reliable than traditional OS or Floppy based products.

In addition to the firmware, system power supply +3.3v & 3.3v auxiliary voltages, RESET, and CLOCK can be monitored using on-board LEDs. Voltages are measured within 2% fluctuations. Lastly, onboard dual POST displays provide troubleshooting assistance for motherboards that fail to complete POST.

The comprehensive motherboard testing of the P.H.D. MiniPCI card combined with outstanding peripheral testing make P.H.D. MiniPCI the single best tool for portable PC's on the market today.

"FAST & EASY LAPTOP DIAGNOSTICS"

"As we experienced firsthand in our tests, this card makes troubleshooting hardware failures and defects on portable devices easier than ever: just plug it into a free mini PCI slot , turn on your notebook and sit back and let it do its job. Since the card functions as a boot device, you don't even need a hard drive with an operating system . The card also performs well as a burn-in and memory stress tester."
